Stuttgart 21: Open Letter for a referendum

Stuttgart / Berlin. From what I could to Stuttgart 21 research as a journalist and after all I could hear from a variety of people, I think that in the decision to Stuttgart 21 is not only a question of show of force by Federal Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel, the CDU party and lobbyists can go from business, but that in a peaceful, fair and open national referendum or the question of approval or rejection of the construction project Stuttgart 21, can be determined and displayed.

My colleagues, ladies and I are appalled by the brutal use of police and state security and special operations forces against thousands of students, pupils, students, young people, citizens who peacefully demonstrated against "Stuttgart 21". Your government wants to beat the prestige project obviously with water cannons, tear gas and batons - at least act the television images we see still standing in shock to see and always check.
Dear Mr Interior Minister, Heribert Rech bear the political responsibility for the brutal use of state security and special operations forces and you connect back soon as possible!
Stefan Mappus, PLEASE adopt an immediate stop the building of "Stuttgart 21" and pave the way for a referendum on the infrastructure project!
